McDonald's Bowling
Thursday, April 7, 2011 - 11:48

Thank you to all who participated in the McDonald's Bowling Night on March 28th at Fairmont Lanes in London.

The event was well attended with 65 bowlers who raised over $4,500 that will be attributed to the $45,000 pledge from McDonald's managers and crew toward the expanded House.

Ronald McDonald House staff and members of the Community Relations Committee entered a team of their own and had a wonderful time showing off their skills or lack thereof.

Thank you to organizers Jessica Risi and Jacki Masse from McDonald's for their hard work and enthusiasm - it was a great event!

2011 Bowl-a-Thon
Wednesday, March 2, 2011 - 17:09

Join us for the 8th Annual Ronald McDonald House Bowl-a-Thon on Sunday, June 12th for bowling, pizza, prizes and more.

Your support and participation in the Bowl-a-Thon will help sick kids from the Windsor-Essex area – families like the Ericksons of Amherstburg who were able to remain close to their newborn son Finn during his very short life.  Every year over 100 sick kids from the Windsor area like Finn and his family depend on Ronald McDonald House to be their home-away-from-home and help them stay together during a very difficult time.

It’s easy for you to help :

  • Register each bowler by calling 1-877-848-8188 or kgibson [at] rmhswo [dot] ca (e-mailing) the office and download a pledge form.
  • Start collecting pledges for your chance to win some great prizes - each bowler requires a minimum $25 each and their own pledge sheet or Canada Helps online Giving Page to participate.
  • Pledges from individual bowlers can be pooled in honour of a special person.
  • Join us at Rosebowl Lanes on Dougall Avenue in Windsor on Sunday, June 12th at 1 pm to show off your bowling skills and have some fun.

Prizes will be awarded for most pledges raised and most pledges raised in honour of a special person.
